This article explains how a buyer can select the address to which an item will be sent before payment. If you have already paid for the item and noticed that the delivery address is incorrect, please contact our customer service and we will look into the situation.
By default, the delivery address will always be the address saved to your user account, but you can change it during payment if, for example, you want this particular delivery exceptionally to your cottage. If you want the package to a specific pick-up point
The pick-up location for the package is determined automatically according to the address in the carrier's service. In addition to the address, the selection of the pick-up point is affected by factors such as congestion at the pick-up point. If you want the package to a specific pick-up point, we recommend setting the delivery address as the address of that pick-up point, so the package will be automatically directed to the correct place under your name.
Entering the delivery address
- Log in with your user account
- Click the payment link for the item, which will take you to page 1. Delivery details: Delivery
- The information is pre-filled based on your user account, but edit the address as needed
- Once you have filled in the required fields, click "Continue" and pay for the item as usual
- Once the payment has been received, the package will be delivered to the nearest pick-up point or according to another delivery method mentioned in the listing. For most items sold on Huutokaupat.com, the shipping method is "to the nearest carrier's pick-up point" (e.g., Posti or Matkahuolto service point). If the package is delivered directly to your home, this will be mentioned directly in the listing text or separately in the listing title.
