How can my company accept or reject an offer?

This guide is intended for business customers who list auction items. A company representative can accept or reject the highest bid within two business days after the auction ends on the My Company's Auctions page. An offer can only be accepted or rejected if the sales condition "The seller reserves the right to accept/reject the highest bid" has been selected. Accepted offers will be notified by email.

This guide applies to customers listing on behalf of a company. If you have listed an item as a private individual, please see How does the vehicle sales process work? (private individual as consignor) or contact Consumer Auction customer service directly at kuluttajahuutokaupat@huutokaupat.com

General

A customer listing on behalf of a company can easily accept the highest bid of a closed auction on the My Company's Auctions page.

According to our instructions, unless otherwise stated at the time of publication, the highest bid must be confirmed as accepted or rejected within two (2) business days after the auction ends.

In order to be able to accept/reject the highest bid, the auction must be published with the sales condition The seller reserves the right to accept/reject the highest bid

If you have published the item as Sold to the highest bidder, the highest bid is automatically accepted when the auction ends. You do not need to take any action. See sales methods: Which sales method should I choose for the item?

How to accept/reject an offer

  1. Log in with the company's user credentials
  2. Click My Company's Auctions and the Closed tab
  3. Next to the item, you will find the buttons: Accept offer and Reject offer
  4. Select your preferred option and confirm

Based on your decision, the highest bidder will receive a notification to their email. If you accept the offer, payment instructions will be sent to the bidder at the same time.
